moved into Mill Street Residence in February ‘03 for what I thought would be a short-term stay. It is now three years later and I’m still here. To say I am pleased is an understatement. The home health care staff has been so helpful, whether they are cutting my toenails when needed, drawing my blood to save me a trip to the clinic or assisting me with the simple things that are hard for me to do now (i.e. buttoning buttons). I feel so very fortunate, as everyone is so concerned and caring while at the same time encouraging me to do as much for myself as I can. While I would prefer to be at home, I couldn’t have picked a much better place to live.
e are absolutely overjoyed to be able to have my mother back at Mill Street Residence. When she was discharged from the hospital, I think everyone had given up on her. I was afraid that she would wind up with no choice but to go to the nursing home. Instead, she is enjoying every day at Mill Street. The staff and tenants are absolutely wonderful to her and are meeting her needs by 110%.
other lived at Mill Street for three and one half years and I want to thank you so much for all that you do to make the lives of your residents as good as possible. It is a clean and lovely place with the needs of each person being respected. I know that much thought goes into how things can be changed or enhanced and everyone appreciates that so much.
