Mill Street Residence is the area’s premiere provider of “assisted living” services, offering a combination of housing and healthcare assistance designed to respond to the individual needs of the person who can no longer safely live alone, yet does not require the assistance and oversight typically found in the nursing home setting. Built in 1996, we are located across the street from Lake Region Hospital and the Fergus Falls Medical Group and we operate as a non-profit corporation, wholly owned by Lake Region Healthcare Corporation (www.lrhc.org). Our three-story residence consists of 64-private apartments furnished with your own personal belongings. Mill Street Residence provides home health care services to our tenants on-site, 24 hours a day to assist with the activities of daily living as needed. In addition, we have a full-time RN (registered nurse) overseeing the care of our tenants. Our full-service kitchen prepares nutritious, home-cooked meals and our tenants are also welcome to use our community room or private dining area for special occasions. Housekeeping and transportation services are provided Daily activities are also offered to stimulate the mind and spirit as well as the body.
